Personal Well Being and Healthy Relationships

A healthy productive life depends on good physical and mental health. In this workshop we will learn the fundamentals of how to care for yourself. It will include discussions on skin care, nutrition, gynecology, stress management and mental health, and healthy relationships. We will also talk about how to choose and use a good health care provider. You will learn to begin to take charge of this complicated aspect of your life.

Dr. Engelland specializes in adolescent medicine and currently practices at BridgeSpan Medicine . . . for teens and young adults in White Plains. She spent eleven years in private pediatric practice in Hartsdale, NY and  the last nine in Mamaroneck. She has also taught at Columbia Presbyterian and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is professionally affiliated with the American Academy of Pediatrics; Society for Adolescent Medicine; North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, College Health Association and the Westchester County Medical Society.
